Connelly & Wicker | PRIME AE was responsible for the design for the reconstruction of 0.5 miles of Donner Road between Mayport Road (SR A1A) and Sandpiper Lane East. The project included widener lanes, an 8-foot shared-use path for pedestrians and bicyclists, and an 8-foot fence along the southern right-of-way. In addition to the safety and connectivity improvements, there is also a new drainage system and improved water and sewer facilities. Agency coordination included site permitting with the City of Atlantic Beach.
