Connelly & Wicker | PRIME AE was responsible for the preparation of plans and bid documents for the resurfacing of Chester Road, from Heron Isle Parkway to Blackrock Road in Nassau County. The project is 2.7 miles in length. The existing 2-lane rural roadway had 11-foot lanes with no paved shoulder. The new typical section provides 2-5’ lanes, with no paved shoulder. Sections of the existing roadway required completed reconstruction due to base failure. The entire roadway was resurfaced with new friction course. Construction was completed in 2019.
