Moody AFB Commissary
Client: Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta GA
Project Description: CWI provided Landscape Architectural services for the new 21,400 SF addition to the existing 42,530 SF Commissary located at Moody Air Force Base. The new additions includes paving alterations, drainage, landscaping, water and sewer. Our design meets all of the requirements set forth in the Installation Appearance Plan. Our Landscape Design also used xeriscape principals to eliminate the need for irrigation.

Portsmouth Commissary
Connelly & Wicker, Inc. provided Civil Engineering and Landscape Architectural services for the new 59,300 sf commissary located at Portsmouth Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The new facility includes a 254 parking lot, a stormwater pond, a hardscape entry area, and open space surrounding the building. Our design meets all of the requirements set forth in the Installation Appearance Plan. Our Landscape Design also used xeriscape principals to eliminate the need for irrigation.

Florida Department of Veteran Affairs Nursing Home
Connelly & Wicker, Inc. provided Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture services for the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs Veterans Nursing Home located in St. Johns County off of SR 16 between International Golf Parkway and I-95. As part of the sustainable design team Connelly & Wicker is responsible for obtaining six Sustainable Site and two Water Efficiency credits. The LEED Rating System is an independent, third-party verification for projects that are nationally recognized as the premier building standard for environmentally responsible designs that are profitable and provide a healthy place to work and live.

St. Johns County Emergency Operation Center
Connelly & Wicker, Inc. was the Civil Engineering firm on the team and prepared the Civil Construction Drawings and permitted those plans through St. Johns County Development Review Committee, St. Johns River Water Management District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and County Health Department. The design included site geometry, storm water management, grading of the building area to meet specified criteria, entrance driveway and utility extensions, site parking and overflow parking areas, underground utilities, and a limited use public water treatment plant.
