Unilever Warehouse- Jacksonville, Florida

This Duke Realty project is an 800,000 s.f. distribution warehouse located in the West Lake Industrial Park DRI in Jacksonville, Florida.  Connelly and Wicker performed civil engineering and landscape architecture services for Structure Point, the lead civil engineer for the project. The 55 acre site is located on the drainage divide between two major drainage basins in Jacksonville; therefore, the stormwater management design involved a system with a point of discharge to each of the two basins, with each point of discharge being restricted by the pre-developed conditions for each basin.

Engineering services included design of water and wastewater utilities, stormwater management facilities, and erosion control; preparation of construction drawings; permitting; and construction services.  CWI’s scope of  work for the warehouse project also included tree mitigation analysis and planning, landscape architecture and irrigation design.  Permitting was with the City of Jacksonville  Office of Concurrency Management, JEA for water and wastewater utilities, St. John River Water Management District for stormwater management and discharge, and the City of Jacksonville Development Services Division for site development and landscape design.  Construction services will include assisting with bidding, contractor support, review of shop drawings, progress site visits, and final closeout and certifications.
