Destin Commons Expansion – Destin, Florida

Destin Commons is a Lifestyle Shopping Center located in Destin, Florida.  The original center included 419,441 square feet of retail space and 67,959 square feet of office space located on the second floor over portions of the retail space.  Connelly & Wicker Inc. provided the original engineering and permitting services in 2002 and was retained in 2012 to design and permit a 102,763 square foot expansion of the shopping center.  Connelly & Wicker Inc. provided design services for civil engineering, parking lot lighting and landscape architecture.  Civil construction started in September 2012 and the building construction is scheduled to start in January 2013.
