Belfort Road – Jacksonville, Florida

This project included a Traffic Study for 5- and 20-year traffic volumes. The preliminary design phase included the preparation of a final engineering report; the preparation of graphics for public presentations; and participation in public meetings. Final design was authorized for preparation of final construction documents for this project. The work included roadway, drainage, right-of-way maps, signing and striping, traffic signal modifications, water & force main design, maintenance of traffic and other related design. The SJRWMD permit was acquired in March 1999.

Civil engineering services to include the design and permitting of a 3.8 mile 4-lane major collector road in 2 segments.  The first segment is a 1.6 mile urban section and the second segment is a 2.2 mile rural section.  In addition to roadway and drainage design, CWI provided design services to JEA for a 16″ water main, a 16″ re-use water main and a 12″ wastewater force main.
