Rick Welch, P.E. is a graduate of the University of Florida and began his career at Connelly & Wicker in 1985. In addition to serving as President, he is often the Engineer of Record or the Quality Assurance Manager for the major transportation projects awarded to the firm. Rick Welch has extensive experience in all aspects of civil engineering in public and private sectors inclusive of transportation engineering for the Florida Department of Transportation Districts Two and Three and site engineering for residential and commercial projects throughout North Florida.

John N. Lewis, P.E.

John Lewis, P.E. joined Connelly & Wicker in 1983. He is Senior Vice President responsible for technical quality and production in the firm's Destin, Florida office. He has extensive engineering experience in the private sector. In addition, he has served as the responsible engineer for state parks, major transportation corridor improvements, studies and reports. John Lewis has well established relationships with the regulatory agencies, several of which utilize his SWAMP stormwater routing software program for stormwater modeling. John Lewis is a Rotarian in the Destin Rotary Club, Destin, Florida.

Andrew M. Cummings, P.E.

Andy Cummings, P.E. is a Senior Project Manager with Connelly & Wicker. After obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1985 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, he acquired a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering in 1987 from Carnegie Mellon University. He moved to Florida in 1987 and has extensive experience in roadway and stormwater design and permitting throughout North Florida for various public agencies and the Florida Department of Transportation. Andy Cummings has participated in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for many years, most recently as the President of ASCE-Florida Section.

Brian E. Kientz
Vice President / Project Manager

Brian Kientz, a 30 year veteran of the engineering industry, joined Connelly & Wicker in 1983 as senior designer and project manager on civil engineering projects. He is responsible for engineering design, preparation of FDOT and FDEP permits, production of construction documents, and performance of construction inspection and administration services for residential, retail and office projects as well as water, sewer and utility design services and inspections for area public agencies.

Allan J. Iosue is a Vice President of Connelly & Wicker Inc. with 10 years of experience in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Project Management and Land Development. Mr. Iosue is a member of the ASLA and ULI, and serves as Project Manager on Planning and Landscape Architecture projects for Connelly & Wicker Inc.

Gilbert J. (Jamie) Collins, P.E.

Jamie Collins, P.E. joined Connelly & Wicker in July 2004 and serves as the firm’s new Branch Manager of our Atlanta, GA office. Mr. Collins has 10 years of experience in residential, commercial and institutional land development across the United States. His experience includes commercial and mixed use developments, master planned residential communities, erosion control, NPDES permitting and floodplain design/analysis. As a senior manager, he often serves in the capacity of Project Officer and/or Project Manager for major civil engineering tasks as well as providing quality assurance reviews, coordination of design production, development of client relationships, contract management and monitor the overall profitability of the office.

Stephen V. Manis, P.E.

Mr. Manis joined Connelly & Wicker Inc. in 2005. He is a Senior Project Manager and Director of Connelly & Wicker's Land Development group. Mr. Manis provides Quality Control and Quality Assurance reviews. His professional experience includes site development and utilities engineering and permitting for residential subdivisions, commercial developments, schools and military facilities.

Tyler Strickland, P.E. joined Connelly & Wicker in 2004 and serves as the dual roles of Operations / Business Development Manager in the Destin office and Project Manaager for Public Sector Design projects. Mr. Strickland has over 7 years of experience in Public Sector Design and Project Management in Florida. Mr. Strickland’s responsibilities include project management, analysis, design, permitting, and computer aided design work related to the preparation of contract plans for transportation and park projects.
