UNF Brooks College of Health Courtyards Open

UNF Brooks College of Health Courtyards Open

Connelly & Wicker provided Landscape Architectural services for two courtyards at the Brooks College of Health building expansion. One courtyard featured a fountain with a sculpture piece by well known artist Madeline Wiener (www.madelinewiener.com), while the other used pervious concrete for a portion of the walkways, a LEED initiative, with the university providing bamboo plantings throughout.

The project was a design build project and was completed in just over two months. Other features of the courtyards were paver areas, a trellis with intergal lighting, pathway lighting, benches and tables, and enhanced landscaping and irrigation.
