June 29, 2007 - Groundbreaking at Ed Austin Skate Park
Connelly & Wicker Inc. working for the OTAK Group participated in the groundbreaking of a new 4 Acre Skate Park located at Ed Austin Regional Park. CWI will be responsible for site planning, engineering, and landscape architecture for the nearly 12,000 SF design. The project is a design build concept with the Otak Group as the general contractor, Connelly & Wicker as the engineer and landscape architect, and Team Pain as the skate park designers. Working together the team is prepared to create the largest and most exciting skate park at any of the city's parks. The park will be completed in phases with phase one to be built by the end of 2007.
Will Lanier rejoined Connelly & Wicker’s Jacksonville office in June of 2007 as a design engineer.
Keith Jackson joined Connelly & Wicker’s Jacksonville office in June of 2007 as a project engineer.
Kevin Curran joined Connelly & Wicker’s Jacksonville office in May of 2007 as a project engineer.
Mark Zion joined Connelly & Wicker’s Atlanta Office in May of 2007 as a Project Manager.
Shayla Nealy joined Connelly & Wicker’s Atlanta office in May of 2007 as an engineer.
Victor Lu joined Connelly & Wicker in the Atlanta office on April of 2007 as a design engineer.
Cory Dilmore joined Connelly & Wicker’s Destin office in February of 2007 as a project engineer.
Jeff Merfalen joined the survey team in Connelly & Wicker’s Atlanta office in February or 2007.
Cyrell Furniss joined Connelly & Wicker’s Jacksonville office in January of 2007 as an accounting specialist.
Steve Manis, P.E. has been promoted to Vice President in charge of Jacksonville area land development projects. Steve has over 20 years of experience and is beginning his 3rd year with Connelly & Wicker.
Jamie Collins, P.E. has been promoted to Vice President in charge of the Atlanta branch office and overseeing land development projects in the Atlanta area. Jamie has over 12 years of experience and is in his third year with Connelly & Wicker.
Allan Iosue, RLA has joined Connelly & Wicker in Jacksonville to provide Landscape Architecture services on both public sector and land development projects in Florida and Georgia. Allan also provides expertise in Land Planning, Hardscape Design, and Irrigation Design services.
Robert Carden, RLS has joined Connelly & Wicker in Atlanta to provide Land Surveying services in the Atlanta area. Robert brings over 20 years of experience to Connelly & Wicker.
Laura Escue has joined Connelly & Wicker in Jacksonville as an Executive Administrative Assistant
Tani Herndon has joined Connelly & Wicker in Jacksonville as Executive Administrative Assistant
Marge Seroky has joined Connelly & Wicker in Jacksonville as Controller.
