Brian Alley, E.I. joined the Jacksonville Beach office transportation team in November. He is a graduate of the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining Connelly & Wicker, he worked on large-scale marine construction/dredging contracts in New York, Louisiana and Florida.
Nicole Lebron, E.I. joined the Jacksonville Beach office’s private sector team in August. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Engineering. Prior to her joining Connelly & Wicker, she spent four years with Jones Edmonds and Associates where she was contracted to work off-site with the JEA preparing water and sewer design drawings and specifications, designing pump stations, preparing permit applications, managing vendors including surveyors and consulting engineers, evaluating contractor bids and construction administration.
Ms. Lebron is a member of the Florida Water Environment Association and a Watershed Action Volunteer with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
Tyler Strickland, E.I. joined the firm’s Destin office transportation team in August as a Project Engineer. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Strickland has over four years of experience in Transportation Design in Northwest Florida. Mr. Strickland’s Responsibilities include analysis, design, and Computer Aided Design work related to the preparation of contract plans for transportation projects.
Jacksonville, Fla. (May 28, 2004) – Civil engineering firm, Connelly & Wicker Inc., has been selected by the Florida Department of Transportation to provide Design services for 4.250 miles of State Road 30 (US 98) in Destin, Florida. This major roadway and bridge construction project begins at the pavement change west of Airport Road and continues to the Walton County line. The project will require milling and resurfacing. The scope of Connelly & Wicker’s services include drainage evaluation , assessment of existing medians, addition of sidewalk where applicable, ADA improvements, upgrading roadside signs, upgrading signal heads to LED indications and re-striping the roadway for 5-foot bicycle keyhole lanes at designated right turn lanes.
