Jacksonville, Fla. (October 15, 2003) – Civil engineering firm, Connelly & Wicker Inc., has been contracted by Jacksonville architecture firm, Smith-McCrary Architects Inc., to provide civil site work including the drainage and water and sewer design for renovations to the St. Johns River Water Management District-Water resources Building in Palatka, Florida. The single story 15,000-square-foot office building will be converted into a two story 30,000-square-foot same-use structure when complete Connelly & Wicker Inc. was contracted by Smith – McCrary for site engineering and design services for multiple projects on the SJRWMD campus, including the 36,000-square-foot SJRWMD Headquarters Building and the SJRWMD Administration Building. Connelly & Wicker is a full-service civil engineering firm, celebrating 20 years of service, specializing in transportation and land development engineering services with offices located in Jacksonville Beach and Destin, Florida.

Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (May 15, 2003) – Destin civil engineering firm Connelly & Wicker Inc. will provide the site planning, stormwater design and plans preparation for permitting of the new Rotary Park in Fort Walton Beach. Connelly & Wicker is one of several firms volunteering time and service to the Fort Walton Beach Rotary Club for the development of this park. Will Poon, project manager for Connelly & Wicker’s Destin office, is also the Rotary Club’s Community Service Chair-Elect. In addition to providing civil engineering services for the project, Poon is scaling the landscape design and incorporating the vegetation layout into the site plan. The design and development of Rotary Park is a great act of service, and Connelly & Wicker is proud to take part in the project.

(April 14, 2003) – Connelly & Wicker Inc., a civil engineering firm celebrating 20 years in Jacksonville, was selected to design a new sidewalk along both sides of Fruit Cove Road in St. Johns County. The sidewalk is approximately 2.6 miles in length, and construction should commence by the end of this year.
