(November 26, 2001) – Keith A. Fell, P.E. has joined Connelly & Wicker Inc., a Florida civil engineering firm, as Transportation Project Manager. Fell is based in the company’s Destin, Florida office. He is responsible for civil engineering project management and design plans production for public transportation projects in counties throughout Northwest Florida. He will additionally serve as the project manager for new projects that may be awarded to the eighteen-year-old firm by District Three of the Florida Department of Transportation.
Keith Fell is a graduate of Auburn University and a resident of Pensacola. He has thirteen years engineering and public utilities experience, most recently with Escambia County Utilities Authority (ECUA). He is active in the Florida Engineering Society (FES) and currently serves as Vice Chairman in the Escambia County/Santa Rosa County Utility Coordination Committee.
(September 1, 2001) – Andy Cummings, P.E. is Senior Vice President with the Jacksonville-based civil engineering firm of Connelly & Wicker Inc. He is a 15-year veteran of civil engineering in North Florida. Later this month, he will be installed as President of the American Society of Civil Engineers – Florida Section.
(June 21, 2001) – William (Bill) Flick, P.E. grew up in greater Pittsburgh, always impressed even in childhood by the bridges spanning the rivers, spending the summers building little dams in the streams flowing through his grandparent’s farm. He always had an affection for dirt.
For more than 30 years, he as been a civil engineer and the last 17 of which have been in North Florida. He joined Connelly & Wicker Inc. in June where he will be a Senior Project Manager on area transportation and drainage projects. Flick reports that while he has enjoyed watching what he designs get built, he has grown to get the most pleasure out of working with younger engineers. "I find it very satisfying to help recent graduates translate their textbook knowledge into practical applications," says Flick. As Senior Project Manager at Connelly & Wicker, he has just that opportunity to coach a new generation of professionals. Although established in 1979, Connelly & Wicker is a continually growing firm that focuses on the next generation.
(October 15, 2001) – Jacksonville-based civil engineering firm Connelly & Wicker Inc. reports that business is good despite speculation on the state of the economy. Richard C. Welch, President, says the company has directed their engineering services to both private and public endeavors, optimistic that such strategy will insulate them should the economy "go south" and protect their company against major swings in real estate development activities.
