New Employee – Director of Planning in Orlando, FL
Connelly & Wicker Inc. is pleased to announce that Michael C. Holbrook, ASLA has joined the Orlando office, as Director of Planning.
Mr. Holbrook is a Registered Landscape Architect with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. He also received a certificate from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design Professional Development Program. He is experienced in all aspects of urban planning, landscape architecture, site planning and design, geographic information systems (GIS) analysis and project management. His responsibilities have ranged from developing the Master Plan for an international airport in the West Indies and preparing Land Use Plans for a 27,000-acre project in Central Florida, to designing and implementing the Development Plan for a major resort in Central Florida. As part of his Urban Design experience, Mr. Holbrook was part of the planning team that prepared the Orlando – Downtown Master Plan in 1990. He has consulted for a variety of public and private clients involving commercial, industrial, resort and residential projects. He is also an adjunct professor at Rollins College, teaching in the Hamilton Holt School and the Masters of Civic Urbanism program.
He brings his unique understanding of development to his current responsibility for business development and project management for select land development projects.
